CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY (HPLC)

The University of Malawi-College of Medicine through its Africa Center of Excellence in Public Health & Herbal Medicine (ACEPHEM)is pleased to announce a workshop on High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), which will be offered in collaboration with the Pharmacy Department and University of Notre Dame.

In this 5 day short course, participants will receive hands-on training on an Agilent system and learn to demonstrate system suitability by pharmacopeia monograph procedures.

Aim of the workshop

Provide hands-on training in acquiring and analyzing HPLC data for a new pharmaceutical assay according to pharmacopeia requirements.

 

Participants to the Workshop will be:

  • Faculty, Post Graduate or Undergraduate Students with interests in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Biochemistry area
  • Lab Technicians
  • Regulatory bodies personnel (PMPB/MBS)

Workshop fees

ACEPHEM will provide tuition scholarship only.UND will provide all materials, supplies, and lab fees. Participants and/or their institutions are expected to contribute accommodation and transport to and from the workshop.
